I painted this piece quite some time ago- as an experiment, later with more practice and more experimenting I changed the painting- not completely but certain elements that I thought would look better. I always use acrylics as I am a bit skeptical about using oils(I need to get over it really) so the inspiration for the mad hat 1 was brought on from the deep depths of my imagination and mushrooms (ha ha haaa). Size 63.5 x100 cm, acrylics/ gloss varnished on recycled masonite board
